Pablo Villeda
Pablo Villeda serves as Director of Operations, Latin America for International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local governments to ensure victim rescue, to prosecute perpetrators and to strengthen the community and civic factors that promote functioning public justice systems.
As the Director of Operations, Latin America, Pablo has responsibility for the leadership of IJM’s two Latin America field offices (located in Guatemala and Bolivia) and three casework alliance partners (located in Ecuador, Peru, and Honduras).
Most recently, Pablo served for three years as the Field Office Director in Guatemala. In this position, Pablo led a team of investigators, lawyers and social workers and worked with Guatemalan authorities and referral partners to investigate and prosecute cases of sexual violence against children. As Field Office Director, Pablo led his team in achieving significant convictions against perpetrators of sexual violence, as well as led structural transformation efforts to enhance the public justice system, including hosting critical trainings for government forensic medical experts and public prosecutors.
Chris Folmsbee
Chris is the director of The House Studio, a non-profit organization committed to resourcing the missional church conversation through training and publishing. Chris also serves on the staff of Youthfront, Inc. He is the author of 8 books for students, parents, pastors and volunteer youth workers on topics such spiritual formation and the mission of God. Chris is a volunteer youth worker at his church and volunteer coach in his community. He lives with his wife Gina and their three children named, Megan, Drew and Luke near Kansas City.
Brody Bond
Brody is annoyingly curious. He asks great questions. He discovers reality, creates compelling messages, and translates meaning. Brody is a brand theorist at Blue Ocean Ideas who is zealous about effective communication. He loves music, leading folks through experiences of worship, art, and creative reflections of faith, justice, and hope. Brody has released an album, Lovers Try which you can find on iTunes or Noisetrade. Along with Sound of Rescue, Brody will be leading worship at Mission Possible 2012.
Sound of Rescue
The Sound of Rescue is a post-rock project from Baltimore, MD. Along with Brody Bond, Sound of Rescue will be leading worship for Mission Possible 2012. Founded by brothers Andrew, Michael, and Stephen Tasselmyer in the fall of 2010, the band is intent on creating honest, inspiring music. “Music, and art in general, has the power to change the way we see and approach the world,” says Michael. “It’s our goal as musicians to convey sonically what we feel around us- both the struggles we face today and the hope we have in a better tomorrow.” The trio has recently collaborated with artists from around the world to release “Hope For Japan,” an instrumental album benefitting earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.
